Programme Learning Outcomes
PLO1: Apply the latest and relevant ICT skills and knowledge as required for the manager of ICT solutions adopted to enhance organizational performance.
PLO2: Perform the job and responsibilities of an ICT knowledge worker competently and in an ethical manner in relevant industries, locally and internationally.
PLO3: Implement and manage ICT solutions that are adopted upon analytical and critical perspective and in view of the latest ICT applications and implementations in major parts of the world.
PLO4: An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet the desired needs required by the multimedia application and/or networking infrastructure.
PLO5: An ability to communicate effectively to successfully manage IT development projects.
PLO6: An ability to use the skills, techniques, and contemporary tools necessary for IT application development.
PLO7: Identify the current networking technology in the industry. Build network topologies by applying basic principles of cabling, performing basic configurations and simulation of network devices.
PLO8: An understanding of the rapid development of ICT and the extensive use of different technologies, and its global and societal impact.
PLO9: An understanding of the need to undertake lifelong learning, and an ability to do so by taking up the opportunities available in the different fields.

General Requirements
The general academic requirements for admission into Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) are as follows:
A pass in STPM with a minimum Grade of C (GP 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects; OR
A pass in STAM with a minimum Grade of Jayyid in any TWO (2) subjects; OR
A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in Non-Computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.75. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment; OR
Two principal passes in the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE) ‘A’ Level Examination (UK Education System); OR
A pass in any Diploma recognized by the Government of Malaysia and/or the Senate of the University; OR
Five (5) Passes in SPM/SPMV or in the General Certificate of Education ‘Ordinary Level’ (GCE) ‘O’ Level Examination (UK Education System) or their equivalent AND at least 3 years working experience; OR
Any other certificate or qualification that is recognized by the University’s Academic Board as equivalent to one of the above.
AND a credit in:
Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at SPM level need to take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject that equivalent to the SPM level. The reinforcement Mathematics subject must be offered in first semester or before enrolment with unconditional offer.

Possess an APEL.A certificate from MQA for admission into Bachelor programmes.

Where the medium of instruction of a course is English and if applicant’s first language is other than English, applicants are required to obtain a score of either:
3.5 band MUET or equivalent to CEFR (High B1)
40 TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or
5.0 band IELTS (International English Language Testing Service)
